Theme: The Yellow Door at 60.

The Yellow Door Coffee House in Montreal - now Canada's longest running 
folk venue - started presenting folk music performers in the fall of 
1966 - 60 years ago.

I first got to the Yellow Door as a high school student in 1969.

One night, after I'd been a Yellow Door regular for a while, Chuck Baker 
- who ran the Yellow Door from the late-1960s until well into the 1980s 
- drafted me to be a Yellow Door volunteer. Over the next few years, I 
sold tickets at the door, or served coffee behind the counter, or MCed 
the show - particularly the Sunday night hootenannies.

All the music on this show is by artists that I saw and got to know back 
in the day at the Yellow Door. It is but a small sampling.
